LW for Term 4:
During the week of April 22-26, I will be walking through all K-12 Classrooms to continue to report back to you what great things the team is up to.  Throughout that week, I will get to every classroom.  Excited to see you, and hopefully it won't be raining LOL..

Arts Expo Check In:
It's getting closer!  We are just 4 weeks away from the BIG EXPO.  I cannot even tell you how excited I am to see you all and all of that student work!  I will work on communicating with principals from K-8 schools to get you here that day for noonish.. We will be able to set up as always, and get things ready for the community.  The night of the Expo will also be the night of the Durfee Spring Concert, Part II, and the BIG FASHION SHOW.
Please let me know if you need any additional kraft paper or labels.

Solo Fest:
Saturday from 9-12, we will have Band and Orchestra students performing and receiving high quality feedback from adjudicators who are NOT their teachers as they perform pieces they have been practicing.  Always love to give a shout out to our kids and teachers striving for excellence- this is DEFINITELY that!

Vets Memorial- Link Up Trip:
On May 22/23, Doran, Fonseca, Letourneau, Spencer Borden and Greene students will be heading over to the Vets Memorial to perform with the Rhode Island Symphony Orchestra with their Recorders!  So excited for this event.  Repertoire highlights include movements from: • Dvořák New World Symphony • Beethoven Symphony No. 9 • Stravinsky The Firebird.
The RI Philharmonic supplies each participating school with quality recorders and digital resources for students and a Curriculum Guide for the teacher. The program culminates in a joyful interactive concert at The VETS in Providence where students celebrate their learning by playing with the RI Philharmonic.
