Week of March 22nd, 2021

Welcome to the end of the last week of what we knew as the norm!

On Monday, 3/29:

  • We transition next week to 5 days a week with students in the building.
  • In K-5, we transition to A, C and D together.  In 6-12, A and C will be going 5 days a week, with B/D remote (synchronously).

On Monday, 4/5:

  • The K-5 "NewB's (my silly name for the B's who are "newly" returning to face to face) will be in the house!
  • The 6-12 A and D students will be in the building for 5 days a week, and B/C working remotely (synchronously).
For additional roll out info, look at the visual above.  If you still have specific questions, please reach out to your principal or VP.

So, thank you to you all for continuing to "ROLL" with all of the 2021 "First Days of School" as we have had a few this year!  Let's support each other in this time of change!  Help a work buddy, make someone laugh, smile under that mask, and make someone else smile under theirs.

Planning Ahead:
  • Padlet: I have secured the first licenses in the district for Padlet!  Please email me if you want a log in to use for art displaying/crit.
  • Videos: Hey- don't forget!  I still want to load any mini-tutorials that you have made into our district FRPS YouTube Channel.  Email me any videos you'd like to share and I will load them and send you the YouTube link for them!  Check out an example here: RADIAL SYMMETRY LESSON
  • PLCs- IMPORTANT: For K-5, I will not see you on Wednesdays anymore, due to the changes listed above.  For 6-8, I am looking at meeting with you on Thursday around noon- please let me know if this time works, Talbot and Kuss!  9-12 will be meeting on WEDNESDAYS during period 2 (sometimes virtually, sometimes in person, ALWAYS AWESOME).
  • NEXT Friday, is Good Friday- Don't come to work. :)
  • Term 3 ends Friday, April 9th- 6-12 teachers.. start lighting that fire under your student's creative bottoms to get their products in for grading!  Can you believe we will be in TERM FOUR SOON?
Have an awesome, well deserved weekend!

Jackie
