They SURE DO.
A quick message this week- again, thank you all for continuing to plan super cool engaging tasks for our kids of all ages. They love what you do with them, and it's so great to walk into classrooms and see the creativity and planning in action.
Keep on keepin' on, team- this last full month is gonna FLY BY. Trust me.
So, what's happening in the Arts This Week?
- Durfee Teachers- will be busy sorting through supplies, tools, instruments and more as they prepare to pack their classrooms into boxes as we will be moving to the new building soon! Did you know that we have GLASS RETRACTABLE WALLS in the ceramics lab and sculpture "fab lab"? Yup.. we don't mess around.
- Morton and Talbot met in PLC this week to touch base on the mask policy progressive redirection poster (I will share below) and how that's going. Things are looking up. Word to the wise> never assume that kids keep the expectations "pinned" in their heads hahaha- sometimes they need that "gentle reminder.."
- K-8 Art Teachers- Have you been building your end of year art galleries online? These can be worked on until June 11th, and then I would like to share them across the district. Please send me the link to whatever platform you are using by that date! Thanks!
- K-5 Music Teachers- Yes, we will be using Quaver Curriculum again next year! Please take a look at the usage to see what your school has for hours!
- Miranda Pellegrino has prepared the voting platform for the We HeART Fall River artwork that was submitted! Please help us by voting!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Jackie
