The first (of many) BAND Trophy
to hit the shelf at the
NEW BMC DURFEE!!!

sounds like a plan

This week, I want to showcase a few great lesson plans submitted last week- all different templates and styles, but the important thing is the planning of the task- grade appropriate, challenging but achievable and super creative.

Got your KEYS?

  • Planning a task that is A- Age Appropriate, B- Based in Elements and Principals and C- Communicated Clearly is KEY.
  • Being consistent with expectations is KEY.
  • Class "CURRENCY" is KEY.  What is currency?  Accountability for the student- in other words, if/then... If I complete the task and reach all criteria, I will get ______.  If I don't, and didn't attempt to, I get _______.
Below are some great task plans from your colleagues, Katie Grinnell, Michaela Booker and Stephanie Pereira.
  • One Point Perspective in 5th Grade- YUP.
  • Performing Gahu Drumming in a small group in 8th- YUP.
  • Observational Drawing in a Foundations Art Class- YUP.

Check them out!
