'Tis the Season...
Welcome to December, teammates. Feeling that? That's the 4:30PM sunset, concert and musical prep, art projecting, adulting feeling- hitting me like a ton of bricks (or a bunch of trains on a conveyor belt).. Give yourself some grace this month. Feel like the gig has got you down? Change the plan- sit in circle time with those 3rd graders and sing a song that makes your heart smile. Whip out the bingo dauber and draw a huge winter scene mural for kids to fill in with tempera. Pull some crazy props out and have students act 30 second skits. Play some chill music in the background during the work period.. Shifting gears sometimes can make the difference in not only the "what" that kids are doing, but also the mood of the class. And your kids will see you smile :)
